Germany ~ Irish Pubs (1995)

As my brothers were buskers, I started out playing on the street as well, but after a while I grew tired of this and I wanted more. The first step up was playing in bars. It would be impossible to count in how many bars I have played. Even today playing in a bar is always magical for me. I played venues of 10k people and more, but honestly I’d rather play in a bar any day. I love the interaction. I love seeing people dance and sing along. I don’t like the barrier a stage creates. I love it when people come up to us and ask for a certain song or dance. It is the root of music and to me it is music in its purest form.

The bar in these pictures was a bar in Heidelberg. We toured a lot in Germany but Heidelberg will always have a special place in our hearts!

The Kevin

Kevin started playing the fiddle when he was 3 years old. Music was always the most important part of his life until January 2013. Now his attention is divided between being a dad, a musician and a privacy advocate.
