The Kevin

You can study music very seriously, but eventually you will have to play it!

Just play it!

You can study music very seriously but at the end of the day you’ll have to play it!   Le Trio Perdu’s concerts are fun, not too technical or snobbish, not too easy or oversimplified either. Smack in the middle. We aim for the perfect balance between craftsmanship and entertainment is what we aim for. One should never need a degree to enjoy our music. If you come to a Le Trio Perdu concert and you haven’t laughed, we did something wrong.

True musicianship lies in the art of making it seem easy or natural so the audience is never confronted with the difficulty right up until the very moment they start playing an instrument themselves.
Come and find out! Book a ticket to one of our concerts or even better, invite us into your homes for a cozy house concert by the fireplace.

Music is magic

It can be dangerous to think you are special just because you sing or play music. But we believe it is even more dangerous to think that music is not special. Music is Magic. It transcends culture, language, upbringing and race. It is both universal and very specific. Music brings people together and has the power to unite cultures.

People do not need to speak the same language, share the same religion, beliefs or ideas. They do not even need to live in the same country or even continent. People from all over the world can play together as long as they listen to each other.

Everything is Jazz

Often when we say we play Jazz, people either cut and run or their eyes go ever so blank and they utter this defeated sigh and mutter something close to “why?” as if their world just ended.

Relax, Jazz never killed anyone (as far as we know). On top of that we solemnly swear we will play more than just Jazz every single concert! Besides, you don’t know what Jazz is, until you’ve learned the meaning of the blues. Trust us, no really trust us, we know what music is best for you.
